$589.00 INTRODUCTORY PRICE!Free shipping within the USAThe Flymaster M1 turns any Flymaster flight instrument into an onboard motor management system for powered aircraft.Flymaster's M1 gathers precise information from several sensors connected to the motor, recording this data and sending it via an RF interface to Flymaster instruments.
M1's high capacity memory is capable of storing motor data at regular intervals from 1 second up. This data can then be downloaded to a PC for later analysis. Using the gathered data the user can plan preventive maintenance and detect possible abnormalities in the motor. The data collected by the M1 is sent wirelessly, in real time to any of the existing Flymaster instruments. Several data items including average fuel consumption, total flight and remaining time, current motor temperatures, etc, can be viewed on the high resolution displays provided by Flymaster instruments. A pilot can use his Flymaster instrument for free flight or connect it to the M1 for motorized flying, giving the Flymaster instrument a dual function.

NAV+ software running on your PDA, together with the FlyMaster F1, forms the most complete soaring flight instrument, featuring all the necessary information either for leisure, XC, or competition flight.
Running FlyMaster NAV+ requires a Windows Pocket PC 2003 Second Edition PDA, or above. Most of the Nav+ features can be obtained using a standard GPS with NMEA format communication capability, however, full performance and features can only be obtained by using NAV+ in combination with Flymaster’s F1 module. NAV+ stands out from other flight instruments not only in the type of information it provides, but also how that information is shown and the way it communicates with the user. Flymaster takes advantage of the stronger computation power, larger memory capacity and higher graphic resolution of the PDA’s. Instead of just numeric information, NAV+ uses graphics that change dynamically adapting to each moment during flight. Examples of the Dynamic Display Information are the automatic change from “Thermal” to “Transition Mode”, and the automatic zoom allowing the pilot to see the thermal when climbing or the turn point boundaries during transition. Interacting with NAV+ it is very simple, in addition to Windows type menus, the touch screen or a stilet can be used to define a task, obtain information, or configure the device. The NAV+ navigation system was developed to optimize pilot decisions during flight, both competition and leisure. Fundamentally it values clarity and ease of reading, concentrating key factors at the moment of decision making during each stage of flight. Route optimization;Start indicator;Wind direction and speed per atmosphere layer;Thermal drift;Thermal strength;Thermal alignment;Glide ratios;Second based track recording;Information clarity; The right information at the right moment.
